3. Booking and Scheduling

A booking is confirmed once the applicable booking process has been completed and confirmation has been provided.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and reviewing their booking details, including the date, time, duration, location, and price.
If you need to change a booking, please contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and our cancellation policy.
We reserve the right to adjust scheduling when reasonably necessary due to instructor availability, court availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel a lesson, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange an appropriate alternative.
4. Free First Lesson
Mission Hills Tennis may offer a complimentary first lesson to eligible new customers.
The introductory lesson gives new players an opportunity to experience our coaching and discuss their tennis goals.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable offer, the complimentary lesson is limited to one per new customer and is subject to availability.
Any additional lessons or services will be charged at the applicable rates disclosed before booking.
5. Lesson Fees and Payments
Lesson prices will be displayed on our website or communicated before a booking is confirmed.
Lesson packages must be paid for in advance. Package purchases are subject to the package terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
For individual lessons, payment timing will be communicated during booking. Any required advance payment must be completed as specified in the booking confirmation.
Any applicable court rental fees, travel charges, or additional costs will be disclosed before you commit to the booking.
Customers are responsible for resolving outstanding payment issues. We may restrict future bookings when necessary to address unpaid amounts, subject to applicable law.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules can change. To respect the time of our instructor and other students, Mission Hills Tennis requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without a late cancellation fee.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the lesson
You may request to reschedule your lesson, subject to availability. Any applicable refund or lesson credit will be handled according to the terms of your booking or lesson package.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson
A $45 late cancellation fee will apply when a lesson is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice. For prepaid lesson packages, the $45 fee may be charged separately rather than deducting the full lesson from your package balance.
Missed lessons and no-shows
If you do not attend a scheduled lesson without providing at least 24 hours’ notice, a $45 no-show fee will apply.
Late arrivals
Lessons generally end at the originally scheduled time when a customer arrives late. If you expect to be late, please contact the instructor as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting the instructor, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and the $45 no-show fee may apply.
Cancellations by Mission Hills Tennis
If Mission Hills Tennis cancels a lesson, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange a rescheduled lesson. Customers will not be charged a late cancellation or no-show fee for lessons canceled by Mission Hills Tennis.
Weather-related cancellations
Weather-related cancellations initiated by Mission Hills Tennis will not incur a late cancellation or no-show fee. Please refer to Section 7, Weather and Court Conditions, for details.
Any fees will be communicated clearly before booking and applied in accordance with applicable law.
7. Weather and Court Conditions
Because many tennis lessons take place outdoors, lessons may be affected by rain, excessive heat, unsafe court conditions, or other weather-related circumstances.
The instructor will determine whether conditions are suitable for a lesson to proceed safely.
If a lesson must be canceled due to weather or unsafe court conditions, we will work with you to reschedule the lesson at a mutually agreed time, subject to availability. A weather-related cancellation by Mission Hills Tennis will not be treated as a customer late cancellation or no-show.
Please contact the instructor if you are unsure whether a lesson will proceed.
8. Lesson Packages and Expiration
Lesson packages may offer discounted rates for customers who purchase multiple lessons in advance.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable package terms:
-
Packages are intended for the customer or customers identified at purchase.
-
Packages may not be resold or transferred without our written approval.
-
Lesson packages do not expire. Any unused lessons will remain available for future scheduling, subject to availability and applicable law.
-
Refund requests for unused lessons will be handled according to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.
Any package restrictions or refund terms will be disclosed before purchase.
9. Health, Safety, and Participation
Tennis is a physical activity that involves inherent risks, including falls, sprains, muscle strains, collisions, and other injuries.
By participating in tennis lessons, customers acknowledge that physical activity carries risks and agree to participate responsibly.
Customers are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate safely. If you have concerns about your ability to exercise, consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
Please inform the instructor of relevant injuries, physical limitations, or safety concerns before your lesson.
Customers should wear appropriate athletic clothing and tennis shoes, bring water, and follow reasonable safety instructions during lessons.
Nothing in these Terms waives any rights or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
10. Junior Players and Minors
Mission Hills Tennis welcomes junior players and strives to provide a respectful, supportive learning environment.
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for arranging lessons for minors, providing accurate information, and supplying any consent required by law.
Parents or guardians should communicate relevant medical, safety, pickup, and supervision arrangements before the lesson.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for arranging their child's arrival, departure, and supervision outside the lesson, unless other arrangements have been expressly agreed upon.
A separate parent or guardian consent and participation agreement may be required for junior players.
11. Customer Conduct
All customers are expected to treat the instructor, other players, court staff, and members of the public with respect.
Harassment, abusive behavior, unsafe conduct, or intentional damage to property will not be tolerated.
We may end a lesson or decline future bookings when reasonably necessary to protect the safety and well-being of the instructor, customers, or others. Any applicable fees, credits, or refunds will be handled in accordance with the disclosed booking terms and applicable law.
12. Coaching Results and Performance
Our coaching is designed to help players improve their tennis skills, technique, fitness, confidence, and match strategy.
Individual results depend on many factors, including experience, practice, physical ability, consistency, and participation.
We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, tournament outcomes, or a particular rate of improvement.

16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mission Hills Tennis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
These Terms do not replace a separate informed consent, assumption-of-risk document, or other participation agreement that may be appropriate for physical activities. Any such agreement must comply with applicable law.
17. Changes to Services or Terms
We may update our services, website content, pricing, or these Terms from time to time.
